Owner's Description
A rare opportunity to sample local life lies in this traditional house on a working farm situated about 5km from the coast and 15km from Viana do Castelo (which is midway between Porto and Vigo). The house is in a peaceful setting with marvellous views of the surrounding countryside. The Ancona river is only 800m from the house and a small boat and 2 cycles have been made available for clients to use. A restaurant and local supermarket are a short drive away. The property is pleasantly furnished in rustic style with living room having a double sofa bed , armchairs, open fireplace and sat/tv. A well fitted kitchen includes everything you are likely to need. There are two bedrooms with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. One of the three bathrooms has a Jacuzzi. The area outside the house has a lawned area and larger than average (9m x 5m) swimming pool with super views. Garden furniture and barbecue complete the picture. The house is on a working farm so there will be typical farm sounds. The farmers live in a separate house nearby and work on the farm during the day. They respect clients privacy. The swimming pool is for guest use only. Prices per villa for either 1-6 sharing or 7-8 sharing.
