Owner's Description
A sympathetically renovated farmhouse only 1km from the Douro river where you can either fish from the sandy beach or rent a small boat. A small café opens here in the summer too. The house is in a quiet location without being isolated with Brago (10km) and Porto (70km). A small local supermarket and restaurant are within 100m. The comfortable accommodation has been careful furnished by the owners in a tasteful rustic style. The living room has a sofa, easy chairs, open fireplace and TV. The traditional kitchen combines a rustic oven and pizza oven with modern day equipment including cooker, oven , coffe machine and washing machine. There are three bedrooms with double bed; one of them having an en suite shower room and wc. There is also a single bedroom and a house bathroom. The house stands in grounds of 10,000m2 with a large lawn and terrace surrounding a large (16m x 6m) swimming pool. There is also patio furniture and a barbecue. Pine woods at the rear give a rural backdrop.
