Owner's Description
Villa Aphrodite commands one of the most stunning views on the island. From the front terraces bordering the swimming pool one looks out across the sea channel to the Greek mainland opposite, the coastline and mountains of Albania and the fortress above Corfu Town. The Villa is set in its own private garden on a hillside of pine trees above Mon Repos, the birthplace of Prince Philip; the Fountain of Kardaki lies below on the fringe of a small beach. The interiors of Aphrodite are of a classical style with a beautiful combination of white and black marble and pine. The four bedrooms lead out on to private patios and the spacious living areas of the ground floor open out on to shaded terraces bordered by shrubs. The swimming pool lies at the end of the garden with its own surrounding sun terrace. Ground floor: large open-plan sitting room and well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher; leading to terraces. First floor: master double bedroom with en suite bathroom and whirlpool bath; one twin-bedded room with en suite bathroom and shower; two double bedrooms; one bathroom with shower. TV/DVD & CD player; air-conditioning in bedrooms; washing machine; barbecue area.
