Lipa Noi
The relaxing beach of Lipa Noi is situated on the west coast of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand. It is an ideal resort for those seeking a relaxing time as there is very little development apart from low rise bungalows and villas along the beach.

Koh Samui is an island paradise located off the Surat Thani coast in the Gulf of Thailand. It is the third largest island in Thailand, measuring just 21 kilometres by 25 kilometres at the widest points and it takes about an hour to drive around on teh permiter coast road. Koh Samui forms part of a group of over 80 tropical islands, many of which are deserted. Its well-known neighbour is the island of Kho Pha Ngan. The population is around 34,000 and the locals are mainly Buddhists. Whilst largely preserved and unspoilt, Koh Samui has a somewhat bohemian past, originally the haunt of free spirited travellers with just a handful of small establishments to choose from for a bed. Now the tourism trade is much mor important, but it has escaped the ravages of mass commercialistion, preferring small developments in keeping with the local style. With plenty of beaches to choose from, the most popular being Chaweng, Lamai, Bophut and Maenam, Koh Samui is a great choice for the quieter part of a multi-centre holiday to this fascinating and beautiful country.
