This area has much to offer and local people are welcoming and friendly. From here you can discover the mountain villages of the Alpujarras and visit the beaches of Salobrena only 30 minutes away. The valley with its extraordinary red hillsides topped with Moorish watch towers, tiny hermitages and aromatic pine forests changes colour and fragrance throughout the year. January brings pink and white almond blossom and in the spring, orange blossom perfume fills the Valley. In the autumn, pomegranates, the symbol of Granada, make their exotic appearance. There are 17 or more villages in the valley many date back to Moorish times. All are white pueblos with narrow streets, sleepy plazas and each has its own fiestas. Our villas are located outside the villages of Pinos de Valle and Restabal.
