St Pauls Bay

On the north west coast of Malta and well placed to reach Gozo by the nearby ferry from Cirkewwa, this popular family resort has rock bathing in clear waters and lovely seaviews across to the distant St. Paul's Islands. Originally centred around the old village with its parish church, St Pauls Bay still offers some local character although the resort now extends along the coast towards Bugibbe and Qawra. Nearby Bugibba is only a short bus ride away and offers a more lively atmosphere with plenty of attractions including tourist shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife into the late hours. These seaside resorts still manage to retain much of their charming character and have long been favourites amongst the many regular British visitors. Car hire is recommended for touring the island although there are good bus services to Mellieha and the island¹s capital, Valetta.
