Bophut has a lovely beach situated on the north coast of Koh Samui overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. A former fishing village, Bophut has lots of local charm and the village does boast a number of restaurants, many of which serve locally caught fish from the Gulf. A relaxed resort with mainly restaurants as nightlife, however lively Chaweng is only a short distance away.
