Maenam is a beautiful and quiet beach which stretches five kilometres along the north coast of Koh Samui in Thailand. With understated development, the ares is great for families who want a relaxing time. The local village has some small shops, and restaurants but for those who want more nightlife there is the resort of Chaweng just ten minutes drive away. Maenam offers great windsurfing in November and December and there are some spectacular sunsets to be seen frm the beach as well as views of the neighbouring island of Kho Pha Ngan.
