The lovely Provencal village of Valbonne lies a few kilometres inland from Antibes and Cannes, and is a beautiful and popular place to stay. The old village is bursting with character and colour, with buildings hundreds of years old and a few interesting antique shops to browse. A lively local market is held every Friday and although there is only one supermarket in the old village, there are larger shops are situated just outside. The village is sought after, so prices tend to be high and there are quite a few upmarket estate agents to tempt you!
