Villeneuve Loubet sits midway between Nice and Antibes on the Cote d'Azur and stretches from the coast, where the amazing architecture of the newer part dominates the skyline, back and up to the old village which retains much of its intrinsic charm. It is quite a climb if you park near the coast, but worth it as beautiful old buildings line steeply sloping streets until you reach the top and a large church with a belltower and beautiful panoramic views. Of course after that exercise it is good to know there are around four kilometres of beaches and all the amenties of a modern resort.
