Situated between Porec and Rovinj with both resorts easily reached by regular local bus, Vrsar is well known for its choice of pizzerias, rustic restaurants and several nightspots open in season. Facing one of the most beautiful archipelagos of eighteen uninhabited islands covered with lush vegetations and trees, this pedestrianised old village is set on a hillside looking out over a small fishing harbour. The resort stretches along the seashore dotted with pebble beaches and man-made bathing platforms towards the spectacular, deep Limski kanal fjord. Cultural events and festivals during the peak summer months include classical music concerts. In season, there is plenty of watersports and land-based sports options in and around the resort for those more active.
